Home Shed 8×10 Cheap Shed Door and Ramp Plans

8×10 Cheap Shed Door and Ramp Plans

by Ovidiu

This step by step diy project is about 8×10 cheap shed roof plans. This is PART 2 of the simple storage shed, where I show you how to build the 4′ wide door. This gable shed is simple to build and it will be very handy for any homeowner. You can easily adjust the size and the design of the doors, to suit your needs. Take a look over the rest of my woodworking plans, if you want to get more building inspiration.

When buying the lumber, you should select the planks with great care, making sure they are straight and without any visible flaws (cracks, knots, twists, decay). Investing in cedar or other weather resistant lumber is a good idea, as it will pay off on the long run. Use a spirit level to plumb and align the components, before inserting the galvanized screws, otherwise the project won’t have a symmetrical look. If you have all the materials and tools required for the project, you could get the job done in about a day. See all my Premium Plans HERE.

The 8 x 10 simple shed plan with the gabled roof seems simple enough to follow. I’m an avid builder and looking forward to getting started on my project. Once completed I will coment in support of the plan. One question I have is our specialist available if the need to call for information on your plan is needed?

Sincerely,
Thomas P. Kosmos

Should I leave a 1/2 inch gap all around the door? and how do i screw the 2/4 together when they are flat?

Use pocket holes and screws to lock the 2×4 frame. 1/2″ on all sides is too much. Usually, the thickness of the blade is enough so you can open and close the doors.
