This step by step diy project is about bed table plans. If you want to build a rolling table for your king size bed, we recommend you to pay attention to the instructions described in the article. There are many woodworking projects and plans to choose from, so take a look over the rest of the project if you want to enhance the look of your home with a one-of-a-kind project.
We recommend you to invest in high quality materials when building the table, such as pine, redwood or cedar. Use a pencil to mark the cut lines before adjusting the size of the components at the right dimensions. Align the wooden components at both ends and add waterproof glue to the joints, especially if you want to use the cat tower for many years in a row. See all my Premium Plans HERE.

Building a Bed Table
The first step of the woodworking project is to build the sides of the bed table. As you can easily notice in the diagram, we recommend you to build the components out of 2×12 lumber. Take accurate measurements and adjust the size of the components using 1×12 lumber.
If you want to enhance the look of the components, we recommend you to make curved cuts to the bottom. Use a nice jigsaw to make the cuts and smooth the edges with fine-grit sandpaper.
The next step of the project is to attach the 2×12 tabletop to the side components. As you can easily notice in the diagram, we recommend you to drill pocket holes along the top edge of the side components and to insert 2 1/2″ screws into the tabletop. Align the edges with attention, make sure the corners are square and add glue to the joints.
One of the last steps of the woodworking project is to attach the caster wheels to side components. In order to get a professional result, we recommend you to choose appropriate caster wheels and to secure them to the bottom of the components. In this manner, you will be able to move the table easily along the bed frame.
After assembling the bed table we recommend you to check if the components are locked together properly. Insert the galvanized screws properly, making sure they are at the same level with the wooden surface.
Top Tip: Don’t forget to take a cover the components with stain, if you want to enhance the look of the table and to make it stand out. Use glue to lock the components into place.
