DIY Project – 4×16 3 Cord Firewood Shed

From Mark E.,

I poured an elevated concrete slab (18’x5′) to keep runoff from going into the firewood shed (cost NW FL roughly $1,200 T&M). My slab is pretty thick, not necessary for flatter ground scenarios. I sent the materials list, found in the plans, to my local Lowe’s, they quoted me ($850) and delivered it to my house. Hired my handyman ($1,200) and he loved building the shed! Lowe’s does not carry colored metal roof sheets so I purchased those from a local metal roofing company and beefed up the gauge to 29. Slick woodshed!
