From Dave,

I almost went overboard and used redwood cedar. So I scaled back to a combination of pressure-treated supports, Douglas Fir for the structure/floor, Azek paint-pro composite 1×6 for the siding/trim, and metal sheathing for the roof. I added some rake details and in the spring I plan on adding supports to the siding as the wood causes the sides to bow out and I’d like to give more support.
