Building a bog chair
The first step of the project is to build the seat for the viking bed. Mark the cut lines on the 2×12 slat and get the job done with a circular saw. Clean the recesses with a chisel and smooth the edges with sandpaper. Make decorative cuts to the corners, if you want to enhance the look of the viking chair.
Next, you need to build the seat for the bog chair. Mark the cut lines on the 2×12 slat and make the cuts with a saw. Smooth the edges with sandpaper for a professional result.
The next step of the project is to assemble the bog chair. As you can see, this is a quick and easy project that can be tackled by anyone. It won’t be a comfortable chair, but it will most certainly impress the loved ones. In addition, you can dismantle it quickly and transport it anywhere you want.
Fill the holes with wood putty and let them dry out for a few hours. Smooth the surface with 100-220 grit sandpaper and remove the residues with a damp cloth.
Top Tip:Â Apply a few coats of paint or stain to the components, to enhance the look of the project.
