DIY Project – 8×8 Catio

This was the easiest project to follow and assemble. I am a pretty handy woman, but I even impressed myself with this project. Not to mention my cats ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I did make some modifications. I added an opening so I could bump it up against my house so the cats could have an easy in and out to the catio.
And used the door as an access when they wouldn’t come in the house because they loved it so much! 🙂 You can see in the pictures the runs and shelves I added. I later added another wood running board on the opposite side of the cage so they had multiple ledges to sit on.
This was easy to modify and add shelves too. I plan on using many many more of these building plans. I assembled the entire project myself. I could’ve used someone’s help to assembly the 4 sides. But I managed to complete to project myself in an entire day.

It shows that you have been working with wood for a really long time. Thank you for the catio plans that we can build ourselves. I believe that I’m going all out with the 8’x8′ catio.. I am just going to have to get help with making access for my cats to enter and exit through a window.
