Comfortable, durable, and attractive pier bench. Seats widened to 20.5 inches. Some reinforcement of joints (front and back legs attached with bolts, support pieces added under seat supports). Total cost including hardware (coated deck screws) about $65 at Menards. Treated wood will be stained after it seasons. 2 days of fun for an old, slow retiree.
