I love this site and really enjoy looking for my next project.  Recently I started on the Leopold Bench plan which I was going to use as plant stands around the pool.  After cutting everything and starting to put it all together I got an idea.  Instead of mounting the back of the bench as noted I put it on the top of the legs to create a second shelf for plants.  It works great.
