Make Project – Tiered Pergola

I used Hardword for the Posts and Treated Pine for everything else, I added the Rails to close it in a little for some more intimacy and give it a more Asian/Chinese feel. It did take me 5 Days from beginning to end and needed a “Second Set” of hands for the Top Rafters and some scaffolding as ladders made it just to hard -(Being in Australia having the Measurements in MM would have been very helpful – however the plans pretty much were as it was and were great!) – the Pergola was 3m x 6m at the completion and worked out MUCH better then I thought it would. Materials cast about $1200AUD Paint was another $200 and Scaffolding another ~$200. All in it was a great project!
