Drill Press Stand – DIY Project

From Erin,

This took one sheet of plywood, which around here is $90. But I bought the two recommended sheets, so it’s been pricey from the beginning. I wanted to use this project to practice using my domino machine and dado set. I added 3/8 ” to the shelves and drawer bottoms and made rabbets in them and dadoes to accept them in the cabinet sides and drawer sides. The top and bottom are aligned with domino’s and reinforced with screws up from the bottom and pocket screws on top. Finished with linseed oil/mineral spirits/spar varnish. This project took me… Awhile. But it’s been a good learning experience.
