DIY Project – Simple 2×4 Bench

From Anna Banin,

Made the bench length a couple of inch shorter and fit into 6 pieces of 2x4x8. So my total cost was 6 x $9.99:

My cut was:

[17″][13″][66]

[17″][13″][66]

[13″][13″][66][little leftover piece]

[13″][13″][66][little leftover piece]

[17″][10.5″][66][little leftover piece]

[17″][10.5″][66][little leftover piece]

[little leftover piece]s were very handy when I was assembling the bench together.

I used the leftover 2.5″ deck screws and finished with the leftover outdoor stainer (Deck Premium Semi-Transparent Wood Stain for Decks, Fences, & Siding – 1 Gallon (Dark Walnut)). Took me a bit above 5 hours (including driving to the hardware store and figuring out the miter saw :))
