DIY Project – 5 ft Picnic Table

From Patti,

This was my first attempt at a do-it-yourself project like this. Total including wood a gallon of good outdoor paint was about $100. I also used epoxy and made a quarter inch layer on the bottom of each table leg where it touches the ground for additional weather protection. I had no experience so worked on the table for several days and a few hours each day. Not hard it was just a learning curve for me. I am pleased with the end result. A sturdy, nice looking picnic table that should last for many years.
