DIY Porch Swing

I made this porch swing with flip down center console. I also added cup holders to the armrests. I made a few modifications to the frame, so I added extra supports to the middle of the seat and backrest. Very pleased with the project and so are my friends.

Doug looks like he has a pretty good handle on the center console. I made the consoles according to the plans, but have not figured out exactly how to attach and be level. I like the look of Doug’s console. I would really like to know the best way of attaching. Can you help me?
