Used plans to create a We-shed with half for my wife’s office and half for a air conditioned space for for family members to escape the heat of the house (no AC in main house). Project took from plans took about a month of weekends. Finishing, electrical, drywall, painting and AC, took another couple months of weekends. Total final cost about $14k. $2k for slab, $5k for materials, $2k for mini split, $2k doors window and trim, $2k for flooring, insulation and drywall, $1k electrical and fan/lighting fixture, $1000 for roofing and paint.
