From Delbert,

Using ideas from MyOutdoorPlans this is my version. The reason for the building is to give my family the “feeling” I had growing up with old family grocery’s with wood floors… porches for old timers to spend time… maybe a woodshed or feed store on the side… or a place to store hay… A metal roof for sound effects… some had corn cribs for storing and selling ears of corn. Notice the sign says RC Cola priced at 29 cents a carton. It was a fun project and keeps the old wood in play for a long time to come.

Because of odd sizing of planks in my original fencing from almost 50 years ago, 8′ and 16′ by 6 inch; it turned out the best use was to make it 16’X36′ with left over pieces enough to do some decorative verticals.  The back side is “green” fresh cut culls of full 1″ thick boards that was in several different lengths where most had at least 12 foot available…. therefore the 12′ centers.
Cracks between boards will become natural looking and are starting to cure already. Flooring inside the one room or crib is a full 1″ thick of newly cut lumber.  This will actually be housing for garden and yard tools.
