DIY Small Wishing Well Planter
Â
Â
From Larry,Â
This project was fairly simple – I am just starting to do some woodworking projects. I worked on it a little at a time. Built the bases, then added the up rights, then worked on the roof. Cut all the wood on my miter saw. Glued pieces and used appropriate size wood screws. When roof was finished and shingles installed I stained and used poly afterwards. Turned out beautiful. I will be making another one as a gift.

Awesome project, Larry! Thank you for sharing this beautiful wishing well planter. It came out really well… I love all the finishing touches and I have a hunch that you will be making more than 1. Haha… Looking forward to seeing your next projects!
Looking for a well cover and wondering what I can put at the bottom to avoid rot and I need it bigger and taller. I also would prefer a light house with solar light. Any chance you can help me make one. I have basic skills and some tools. I appreciate your projects very much. Thank YOU!
You can check out these plans: http://myoutdoorplans.com/furniture/wooden-wishing-well-plans/ To prevent rot, I recommend you to build a base from pressure treated lumber. I hope this helps!
