This step by step diy project is about 12×16 ATV shed ramp plans. After building the 12×16 atv shed. you need to make the ramp so you get a super easy access with your vehicles. You need to make a few adjustments so the plans suit your needs. In addition, if you will use heavy vehicles, make sure you use 2x6s instea of 1×6 for your ramp. Take a look over the rest of my woodworking plans, if you want to get more building inspiration.
When buying the lumber, you should select the planks with great care, making sure they are straight and without any visible flaws (cracks, knots, twists, decay). Investing in cedar or other weather resistant lumber is a good idea, as it will pay off on the long run. Use a spirit level to plumb and align the components, before inserting the galvanized screws, otherwise the project won’t have a symmetrical look. If you have all the materials and tools required for the project, you could get the job done in about a day. See all my Premium Plans HERE.

Building a shed ramp
Build the supports for the shed ramp from 2×6 lumber. Mark the cut lines on the beams and get the job done with a circular saw. You need to make adjustments according to the height difference between the ground and the floor.
Fit the supports to the front of the shed. Use metal hardware to secure the joists into place.
Lock all the supports together by fitting the 2×4 support.
Last but not least, install the 1×6 slats to the supports. Leave no gaps between the slats and then secure them to the supports with 1 1/4″ screws. Drill pilot holes to prevent the wood from splitting.
Check out the rest of the project, so you learn how to assemble the frame of the shed, as well as the roof.
This atv shed is really nice, as it gives you the opportunity to store lots of large items inside starting with a motorbike up to an ATV. Check out PART 1 and 2 of the project to learn more on how to build the shed frame and roof.
