I wanted a basic brick bbq, so I can build it by myself. This was really a weekend project: bricks, mortar and a few beers. I found your instructions and tips really helpful, as this is my first masonry project. I adjusted the size of the bbq to fit the tray and the grill. This project fits my patio and I have already used it a couple of times.
