From Jay Kee,

I used cedar and shortened the width of everything a few inches to fit my space. I added two additional back and seat supports by just duplicating the originals in the plan. I then used pocket holes to join the supports together along with wood glue. It took me a few weekends to complete the sanding and assembly. Finished with 5 coats of water borne polycrilic.
