DIY Project – 8×10 Free Standing Pergola

I followed the DIY plans used exactly the materials they recommended. Once I got all the materials to the house, I cut everything to size. I then cut all the decorative ends on the joist and beams.

This took about two days if you’re picky and sand everything. I then cut the corner braces. This is the most tedious part.

Once everything was cut and ready to go I loaded it up and brought it to the customer’s house. Basically since I had it like a kit ready to go it took me one day to build the entire thing.
