How to build a strawberry tower planter

Building-the-base

Building-the-base

The first step of the project is to build the base for the tiered planter. Cut the components from 2×8 lumber at 82 1/2″. Use a miter saw to make 45 bevel cuts to both ends of the beams. Lay the beams on a level surface, align the edges flush and make sure the corners are square. Drill pilot holes and insert 2 1/2″ screws to lock everything together tightly.
